Zheng-Dong Ma(Mechanical Engineering, University of Michigan)
With the technical progresses, architectured materials are possible to be designed and manufactured with consideration of structure functionality and performance requirements. Using combination of multiple materials, macro-architectured materials could adaptively strengthen cellular structures, leading to light-weight and high-performance designs. This seminar covers the following topics:
(1)    微结构材料的基本概念和主要特点;
(2)    数字化设计和多尺度分析方法;
(3)    功能导向设计和优化方法;
(4)    数字化产品和物理产品实例;
(5)    微结构材料的产业化应用前景;
